I had this problem with old non-weidu bp with many other mods so probably you are right

After leaving candlekeep fabio showed himself :/ and has taken me to rastenford for second part of bonehill. I show up before Pelltar but when i talk to him he everytime stops talking after telling me about 2 suspects and talk menu exits,no quest entry no more clues.. When I go to the west and try go to Garroten I can go south but no new area is on the map(other areas of island like bonehill are on the map). Any chance I can progress with this I would really like to finish this mod

For now I CLUA`ed of island and will try to progress with story in BG.

I played only episode one of nej and tested ctb, i liked nej much more,balaned, good battles,practicaly bug free etc. In ctb i didnt liked unbalanced battles(30 easy enemies-golems for 13.000 each,early in the game in some mage tower etc.

Try kicking all from team and talking to her with only you in team. It helped in my case.
