That was me earlier with the Ascension problems.
I unstalled Ascension and the LR worked out fine and I got everything, the endings, the epilogues etc!

Yikes. Now you have some seriouslsy screwed install here. It is absolutely NOT normal to have the second Irenicus. What is your mod installation order? Did you by chance install LR BEFORE Ascension? That might be the reason why it all went so badly. Yes, if you have not seen Irenicus's Epilogue nor the cutscene in the end and you had had 2 Irenicuses - your install was not right. Basically some of the important scripts were truncated.

Firstly please check your installation order. If you have LR installed before Ascension please re-install in the opposite order.

Secondly I would need to see your weidu.log file to be sure ( it is in your BG II main dir), but if the mods were installed in the right order - Ascension first LR after it , then I would need to see a your AR6200 file ( it is located in the override folder) to troubleshoot.

Ahh...now i see. My problem is that I installed ascension after the longer road... I will go and reinstall now in the right order. If the problem still exist- ie two Irenicus, I will e-mail you.

PS. Just something that I want to share. In my game I ended up with four Irenicus somehow (his real self, his other self and two simulacram.) It was...an interesting experience.

Hey Dorotea I started playing the longer road with ascension and I reached the final stage at TOB. But there are some problems.

1) Is it normal to have Melissan call up another Irenicus when I have Irenicus in my group? It got a bit...wierd.

2) At the end when the Solar comes out again, she asked Balthazar to give up his soul and then Imoen's. Then she said it's nearly the PC's turn, but first had to severe the bond with Irenicus. She did that, then a dialogue loop pops up as she asks Balthazar and Imoen to give their soul again. Then ask the PC. Did something happen with the dialogue?

3) After the game finished and people's epilogues pop up, I saw everyones, including Balthazar's but not Irenicus'!! So is somthing suppose to happen?

4) Also, when he rejected Sendai's soul and decides to take one from Ilmater, is something supposed to happen? Basically in my game he just turned Neutral without anyone noticing and I didn't even realise until we are in the TOB.

In conclusion, is there some compatibility with Longer road and ascension? I think I have redeemed Irenicus but nothing come out, and no endings!

But ascension should be ok with the longer road right?

My understanding is that any mod that heavily modifies the final scenes of the ToB would clash with LR - if it was released after it. I Think that would be Return to Windspear for sure ( unless they took special care to be compatible), Turnabout and Virtue, the BP+ - it has a lot of music and there were reports of overwriting many scripts. Thats about all I can think of.

If you can do me a favor and ask your friend what mods does she have installed for sure?

It isreally sad that most of the modders don't give a fig about compatibility with other earlier released mods - but tis life.

LR is definitely compatible with all of the Romances, Ascension, Ease of Use, Tactics, Valen, Improved Oasis, and Quest-Banter-Flirt packs ( although I am not that sure anymore - they might have added stuff) . Any mods that don't add anything to the ToB portion are compatible.

My friend have all the mod that I have. By the way, she wants to plan ascension and on the readme we saw that it is advised that you should install redemption. So, should she install redemption instead of the longer road?
