BGT doesn't modify songlist.2da any longer, only its GUI-switcher does (and since it replaces the songlist completely, there will be no problem either).

Longer Road adds some music to songlist.2da which make it unplayable with BGT (propably)

LR plays very well with BGT without any songlist.2da editing. It just depends on the number of 'big mod' you're adding (just one or two for me, so don't had that specific problem).

But in a way you're right: if you try to add all (or many) of them (TDD, TS & co) you're gonna have songlist.2da problems. It's just not LR specific  ;)

I have come across a rock in the temple ruins near Umar Hills (lower right area), that has something hidden in rock, I can not retrieve anything from rock, as it remains in a locked state and will not open, so hope this is not where couchgrass should be ?

No, it's from the Ranger Stronghold quest (if I remember correctly), nothing to do with Holly. Can't help you on this one BTW, sorry.

This is due to a known (not game breaking) 'strings problem' spoken of in many threads  ;)

unless i'm missing something, no-one has previously reported Sarevok's lines being broken - i can't imagine this have come out of closed beta if the main baddie in BGT had stuffed dialogues. hence, i'm guessing corrupted dialogue - but what's caused it, i'm not sure.

You're right, I was answering to the 2nd post, not the 1st. I've in fact never reached the end of the BG1 part using BP-BGT, so I cannot confirm/infirm that Sarevok actually likes bridges  ;)

My mistake if that's not the same problem, but it seems to be a very similar one.

BTW these wrong dialog lines are all from BG1NPC if I remember correctly --- saw them during my last tutu play more than one year ago, Imoen for the first dialogue line, though I don't remember for the 2nd, just that it was the answer to her say. And the messed up dialog lines encountered so far during my adventures in BP-BGT all seemed to come from that particular mod.

Ok, I may be wrong, it can be a coincidence and I'm not a modder, just trying to help, so... :doh: :whistling:
