A very tricky matter.
How to keep the enemies "realistic" and still provide a challenge for a party of high level adventurers?

I also have a problem
I recently installed the weidu version of SoS, but the game doesn't work (trying to load the game or make a new one, crashes the game to the desktop. Also, Polish fonts in the menus are all messed up)
I have other mods, all weidu.
Can you tell me what I did wrong?

Hmm. I will give it a try as soon as my game works again.
I looked at Moonfruits forum and it's dead again. I don't think he is going to develop it further.
Is anyone working on anything similar to improved battles right now? I still have a couple of suggestions that haven't been used yet.

Yes, I reinstalled the game after a year break and got a bit over enthusiastic.
I expect no one has yet attempted the titanic task of making a winged avatar for Aerie?
(btw. last year, I think I managed to convince you to remove the beard from female dwarf paperdoll and actually give them some hair. Has anything been done in this matter?)

I downloaded the quest pack yesterday and haven't experienced the content yet. I can't get past the prologue because of a mod that causes the whole world to a splode. (I think it is one of the iron modder entries. I am stuck until I find out which one).
Also, the area improvements failed to install (said something like "writing out of bounds". I will try to find the debug file and send it to you.)
By the first idea, I meant the final quest in warrior's stronghold, when the father of the guy who was supposed to marry Nalia, comes to the castle to take it by force. He comes with a group of soldiers and archers but comes out in the very front, allowing the party to swarm him and end the battle in about 10 seconds. There were suggestions to put him back and give him a couple of high level servants as bodyguard (a couple of high level archers, some guys with big shields to intercept close combat attackers, a priest to heal him etc. Making the lord himself more powerful would be unreasonable, as he is not a legendary warrior, but he could be given some expensive equipment or potions.)
