haha, I wonder anyone done this, but this is what I have for my solo sorcerer.
Out of habit, I pick a ferret for my familiar. As a level one sorcerer, I'm having a hard time in the beginning for BG1. The sling weapon take too much time and effort, sometime it doesn't help at all. Guess what, u know what's coming.
My ferret with a AC -4 is almost unkillable in the beginning of the 1st few chapters. I use ferret to fight Ogre, Orc, assassin, whatever you name.
It's amazing funny to watch that little creatures to kill horde of hobgoblin.
Did anyone do something similar or saw this coming in BGT??

Improved BG Spells
21 March 2007 - 03:07 AM
I recently get into reading BG2 spell tips, trick, combo etc mood.
Some of the spell look really nice if improve in such a way that it increase by level or something. It's not like level 50 spell which generate a program to upgrade the spell.
More like improving the spell as the level of the caster increase to make them more useful.
My opinion is that, there is too many new spell around that u cant get them into your spell book, why not improve on existing ones? I was think of making or suggesting a mod for this, however I like to see the response from other more experience modder and players, since I haven't been around BG mod for the last 3 years.
One of the storyline relating Elminister trigger this thought. One of he's book by Ed Greenwood have a scene where Elminister in a Carnival. In that carnival, he cast a super big fireball. For his level and power, it's logical. Our normal BG2 fireball level stop at certain level with the same radius throughout. The spell is generic and doesn't allow much control.

The cave in the Temple map
18 March 2007 - 09:55 AM
I found a new cave East of the Temple of Lathander.
The thing is, I don't know which mod affects the change.
It's doesn't seem to be DSOTSC, NSOTSC, TGC, SOBH.
Does BGT or BP edit existing area with quest?
The quest is to find vampire sword and holy water to solve curse soul.
Thanks if anyone know the answer.

Help: Mega install without TDD spell
18 March 2007 - 03:51 AM
Actually I don't want the TDD spell, I find they are overkill for scoerer especially.
Is there a way to omit that since I couldn't get certain spell early in the game with some TDD spell choking at the front.
I dont want to CLUA either.
Dont tell me not install TDD.
Ok, anyone have this problem? Thus the solution?
