Stuck in the 9 Hells

Running BWP 9.1.7 Standard (Less a few mods) on XP64

I've gone to the 9 Hells (Area F_6666) with Drizzt, Met Wulfgar who joined up, Killed some Demonknights and Belhifet then gone to another area (F_6661) and Killed a Marilith and picked up some treasure. But I get the feeling that something is not firing as it should as these two areas only have exits pointing to one another and there seems to be no way to get out.
I've tried talking to Drizzt and Wulfgar but if I do that they both just leave the party. I've checked The ARE CRE and associated BCS files but cannot find anything helpful and I've never played this mod through before so I have no idea as to what is supposed to happen.

Now I'm stuck, has anyone got any suggestions? (Nothing anatomicallly impossible please :) )

Random Exception code 5 CTD in BGMAIN.EXE

Hi there,
      I've been wrestling with various installs for some time and I have got my current one pretty close to how I want it, but I keep getting CTD at random times and this is really annoying. I've tried all the usual fixes but nothing seems to affect it. Sometimes the game will play happily for an hour sometimes it will crash after a couple of seconds and the only thing I've found that helps (but does not cure) is to not have anyone other than the PC within sight whilst things are happening.

I'm running Windows XP 64 on an Atrhlon64 3700+ machine with a Nvidia Geforce 9800+ 512mb video card.
I have a BWP 8.01 Tactics Installation with a few tweaks... mostly involving Kits.
The exception code is 0xc0000005 at address 0x000000000099a218 in BGMAIN.exe.
I have logging on but nothing appears in the baldur.log or baldur.err

If anyone has an idear of what I've done/got wrong before I have yet another go at reinstalling it from scratch again I would be most greatful.
