Did you try using the file I gave in override?

Yeah Hoppy it gets to about 1/2 or 3/4 through and then crashes (is there a way to fix this?). It's a bit annoying, but i have all the area code locations, so i've just been using CLUA to skip between areas. Not quite how the game is meant to go, but it's better than nothing, and as much as i would like the game to run perfectly in every way, until i get to a problem i can't solve i don't really want to have to go through the many many hours that it takes to install all of the mods.

Have you run into any problem to do with the farmer who asks you to wipe out the zombies? I've killed them all and he still keeps telling me i haven't got them all. I also have to CLUA to get to the woods of the dead and all related areas because my world map doesn't update when i get a quest in the area (IE - Duke Eltan and the quest in the northern citadel) is this common?

Yeah, i did notice that when ranged characters got a kill the game crashed. You will probably notice laster on in the game, most specifically when fighting creatures like ghasts that it crashes a fair bit even if melee is involoved.

Well, i'm back again to say that the problem hasn't exactly gone away. It has only crashed 3 times in the 6 hours that i have played it since axeing the use of ranged weapons (thank goodness for shadowkeeper so i could change my prof points into something else) but it is still there. Every once in a while (at the worst possible time) it shits itself. It was particularly fun when i had to do the chess game battle 4 times in durlags tower because it crashed on the 2nd and 3rd attempt. Still got no idea what could be the problem and why the script for ranged weapons is particularly problematic.

Thanks leomar. I'm not quite sure what the DO quest pack is doing in the middle there, but the game still works i suppose. I figured out that the animation crash only occurs when characters take down enemies with ranged weapons, so i guess i've just got 2 finish the game without using ranged weapons which is a bit of a bummer, but still bearable.
