I am trying to use the SMM-autoinstaller megamod, but two mods, improved asylum and RPG items pack v2, tell me that wiedu has been auto-updated and I need to reinstall them. Problem is, i have to wait 2 hours for the installer to finish.

How can i update these two mods before starting this process?

I am using the SMM auto installer http://my.opera.com/...llation-toolbox which requires 1.05a. I cannot find this older version anywhere.

How many hours would it take me to go through all the classic adventures?

Which mods add the most gameplay time? If you have played through any of the big ones, can you post how long it took you?

I am a complete noob to BG mods. Nevertheless I am going to attempt a Big World Project install for several reasons: (1) I have successfully installed many complicated mods for other games. For example FCOM for Oblivion; (2) Eventually I will want to play with the largest BG world possible; and (3) I don't want to start a new BG game and after playing for many hours, regret that I didn't install certain mods.

So what happens if I screw up the install but don't discover this until 100+ hours of gameplay? Or perhaps i didnt screw anything up, but there is a bug that ruins the game?

Can I reinstall BG with a different set of mods and still use my old gamesave? Is there a way to import saves?
