I'm struggling at the moment and in need of some assistance. The party is only me (Turin a FMT just under 6m exp) and Jaheira at ~4m exp. I realise I should have a larger party but Aerie has been vamped and if I can't otherwise resolve it I don't mind recruiting some others. I want to resolve the encounter violently ().

The main problem is my buffs getting stripped and I can't tell why. Jaheira buffs with Hardiness and polymorphs into a rat so she is completely safe, Grok attacks her to no avail. The FMT on the other hand keeps getting munched.

I buff with Chain Contingency: PfMW, True Sight, PfNM, Contingency: Stoneskin, and cast SI:Abjuration at the start (with Vecna and AoP so it comes out instantly). The fight goes something like this:

Venduris: Weapon inneffective
Selina: uses a scroll
Venduris: spell inneffective
Zaeron: uses a wand
Turin: Specific Protection Dispelled
Turin: Spell Protections Removed
Turin: Combat Protections Dispelled
Bodak did 9 damage to Turin
Turin: Dispel Effects (though I'm pretty sure everything is gone already).
Then I'm defenseless and dead.

Now as far as I know I should be immune to what they throw at me. The Wand of Spellstriking and Dispel Magic shouldn't work since I have SI:A, Arrows of Dispelling shouldn't work because of PfNM, yet something still gets rid of both my spell and combat protections really quickly. The only unknown I can see is Selina's scroll which could be Ruby Ray though I'm 90% sure its PW:Stun. The only other thing I can think of is that Breach from a Wand of Spell Striking counts as being school-less or something. If I can figure it out I'll just opt for damage resistance instead.

I have the Triple class HLA tables component of the G3 Tweakpack installed over RR(4.02) and consequently my FMT doesn't get access to the thief HLAs added/revised by RR. I was wondering what the results would be by reinstalling "Thief High Level Ability revisions" and whether this would work and be advisable as I would rather not chop off the level 10 spells or something. I don't mind adding things Shadowkeeper each time I level up I just wondered if there was a fix.

At the moment I have no idea how I'm supposed to win this fight, the fight with Kharen was challenging but I did it comfortably after a reload, but now I'm well and truely stuck.
My party is: F/C PC, Minsc, Kova, Kiyone, Solafein (F/M) at around 4m exp each.

For some reason I'm stripped of all my buffs, is this supposed to happen? This could be a birpoduct of me having to move Minsc and Sola to a different area to avoid a crash as per here: http://www.shsforums...showtopic=31799

The immediate threat is half a dozen thieves poised to backstab so I can make myself somehwat immune with PfMW and Hardiness, which is by no means perfect since each backstab is still doing 35ish damage. Then there's Edwin who is using some serious cheese with Abi Dalzim's, Wail of the Banshee, and I don't know how many Chain Lightnings with some ridiculously fast casting. Thus my party is devastated.

Now I could use some Contingencies/Spell sequncers with Kova/Sola, I'm thinking SI: Necromancy for Kova and Imp. Invis and SI: Divination with Sola (since he is >90% magic resistant anyway). I havn't tried to see if these are stripped yet but in any case it still leaves me unprotected from Chain Lightnings, and by this time those without PfMW are getting chunked.
