Well, I don't know about the WP, but you shouldn't be casting wizard spells at all in the city of Athkatla before you have the casting license. As it could be that someone has changed the enforcers to be 'Shadow plahs'.

I already have the casting license, oh well.  I'll just avoid casting in WP for now.

PS, the BWP came out, not the BWS, you'll have to wait before it's if you don't wish to make manual setup...

oops, spoke too soon.  I'll wait for the setup to be released, manual is a real pain, did that last time.

Some new mods; Item Revisions, Spell Revisions, The Wheels of Prophecy... just few examples.

But if I were me, you would wait for the BiG World Setup v8 to come out, as it will help you immensely... in the setup. The v7 is a bit damaged, cause the BWP team is doing the update and it's incomplete, so the links it uses are not to the right files making it unusable unfortunately.

Well, looks like the problem has been solved before (see above post), so therefore I'm off to try and repeat the proecess.  I'll keep a close eye on the BW Setup v8 release date. (Edit:  Lol, it came out like a few minutes ago)  When it comes out i'll plug it in and give the game another go (maybe even help out with bugs if they need me to).

The only other problem I'm having is when I use any sort of magic in Waukeen's Promenade, a ton of enemies named 'Shadow Warrior' or 'Shadow Mage' or 'Shadow Golem' spawn all around me (anytime a spell is cast, the spawns re-occur on the person finishing the casting.).  It's very annoying, so I just don't use magic in that area.  Can't find out what quest that particular encounter comes from, but I guess i'll keep looking to see if I can disable it till later.

Take care Jarno

By any chance did you get a quest at Umar Hills named Moxen to find somebody(I want to say it is his apprentice or daughter or something like that)? If so then your problem is probably described in this thread. It is part of the Every Mod and Dog quest. I can't tell for sure if you are using it though since I can't find it in your weidu log, but I can't find it in my own either and I know I installed it.

Wow, u are dead right.  That's exactly my problem, i'm going to go try and fix it now.  Thank you so much, you saved me much time and nothing is more valuable then that.

A big thanks goes out to Leomar and White Agnus for their generous assistance in solving the bug.   Woot!

Edit:  It worked!  Well I always knew it would, but its far more pleasing to actually resolve the issue, anyways... thanks again

Well, as you said that you are willing to deal with bugs, well, I suggest that you look at the megamoding FAQ in my sign, as it gives somewhat good advice on about how to deal with the lagging you encountered.

I'll look through the faqs now and see what I can find, thanks for the help

But first I would suggest that you restart the game, and load the save just before entering the area, go to the area, and push the x button, it will say what area you are on...

The area is the temple ruin area 4104.

I have a couple of questions, do you think it would be wise to reinstall all the mods I have?  Has there been a significant increase in stability of the mega mod that would warrent a reinstallation?

And has there been any great mods that have come out in the past year that you would recommend (I looked through the new releases but it's hard to tell which one's are good, you know?)

Thanks for your help Jarno

Bump bumpy bump

I Just picked this game up again, after a year or more off.  Having some bugs when I enter the Temple Ruins.  What happens is that the game starts to have 5 second stall, then a 10 second stall, then a minute long stall, then it freezes altogether.  Not sure if anyone has heard of such a problem, but any help would be great.  The only clue I have as to what it could be is that after the stalls, it displays that a shade lord is self buffing, which seems to be what is causing the slow down's and eventual freeze.

Thanks for your time.
