Hi Leonardo, really nice work.
I have a few questions:
1. Your pdf says I will end up with BGT in any case. Is there a problem if I skip it entirely? (and also skip all BG1 content, of course)
2. Your guide instructs to install Weimer's Ascension after Big Picture, but the compatibilty guide on the BP forum instructs the reverse. Which is the correct order? (Or perhaps it doesn't really matter?)
And a suggestion:
A more detailed description of what the individual mods do and more importantly how they (might) interact with other mods could be very helpful and aid a player in cutomizing an install. For example:
1. I did a manual install (restarted, not yet complete) with some playtesting in between. I have discovered that a lot of mods add a lot of divine spells to the game. Divine Remix when it implements its spheres removes most, if not all, of the additions, which might be a shame.
2. Arcane-Divine Spell pack completely modify how Protection from Magical Weapons, Mantle, Breach. Pierce Shield & Co work. This might mess up the improved AIs of enemy mages conceptually since the new scripts I believe were written with the old functionality of those spells in mind. With PfMW now only protecting from +1 or worse weapons (instead of +1 or better), Breach not taking down Absolute Immunity and Pierce Shield now working as combat and specific protection buster, things might not work quite as expected. Like the fact that you can just whack a lich that has casted PfMW with +2 or weapon (bonus points if it has elemental damage that goes through stone skin) when normally you'd have to first get rid of its spell protection, then breach it, then repeat as it fires a 50% hp contingency. Personally, I've modified ADPack.tp2 to skip the files relating to those spells (also some other spells).
3. A little more info should be posted about the various tweaks some mods add, like stuff that sometimes isn't even in the readme but is perhaps so well known in the comnunity that it doesn't seem worth mentioning. TDDs level 50 rule tweak must be the prime mention of this (neither readme nor mod site say anything about this that I could find at a cursory glance). Also, The Longer Road sets the level cap back to 40 (from what I've read on the forums it was intended as a tweak, but after TDD and/or BP it ends up as a nerf)
Oh, and... keep up the good work
