i think that would be a good idea. The closer these type of things can get to canon the better. Also, it might encourage those LOTR fans who know nothing of Silmarillon to get a copy and find out how awesome it is first hand :P

Also, it would be quite cool to see those two characters as the children they are supposed to be, at this point in time

Nuts- still no joy. The download begins, but it claims completion after downloading only 4KB instead of 4+ MB

I had that problem as well. When I clicked on it to download, Free Download Manager popped up so I downloaded it through that. But then it said the file was only 4kb, so I deleted it and downloaded it using the Firefox downloader

That worked fine for me

Hi thanks Crowlord!

Btw, I'll update the installer soon. Just waiting for more bug reports. :D

Are you going to update the guide as well. One thing i wory about with these megamod installs is missing out quests, as I want to do everything

I downloaded everything using the Free Download Manager like you said, and when it came to install the program said that some Mods weren't in the MOD_SOURCE folder even though they were.

The reason this was, is that the program was expecting those mods to have _'s instead of -'s. All I had to do was change those mods filenames from, for example, AjocsMinimodWeidu-v16 to AjocsMinimodWeidu_v16

I posted this just in case anyone else was having my problem. This might be caused by Free Download Manger, but I'm not sure because there were other mods that I downloaded through Free Download Manager that left the underscores intact.

Hi Crowlord, the manual guide doesn't apply for the auto-installer. It does the ini edit + the extra steps in 3 automatically.

There are two ways to install the SMM package:

Method A - Complete Automation (recommended)
Download SMM AutoInstaller + SMM MOD_SOURCE - section 1
Auto-download the mods required - section 2
Auto-installation procedures - section 4
Support for SMM installed games - section 3
Download SMM walkthrough - section 1

Method B - Manual Installation (if you have some good reason)
Download mods using Mod Links (convenience) - section 1
Read SMM Manual Installation Guide - section 1
Support for SMM installed games - section 3
Download SMM walkthrough - section 1

See http://my.opera.com/...llation-toolbox for more information. Thanks.

Cheers, that was the only thing that was puzzling me. Great Work
