I downloaded the better heads mod for morrowind and it seems to have overwritten my morrowind.esm with better heads.esm and now i can't get any of the old heads back. What do i do?

Better Heads Mod is a face replacer mod, and like many other face replacers, it replaces all the original Morrowind heads with new ones. The only face replacer mod I know of that adds new faces but also keeps the original faces is World of Faces, here is the URL for the download:

http://www.rpgplanet...t...ld of Faces

You can try it out instead of Better Heads, but I haven't try it myself.

If you only want to give your main character a new face, but want all the NPC to have the original faces, then you shouldn't use a face replacer mod, but instead try to find a face addition only mod. If that is the case, let me know and I will post some links I know. Hope this helps.

Ziggy,

That's neat. So you are playing an argonian but can wear all the armor and clothing...

Btw, how did you attach the image? I try to use the file attachment but keep getting errors... :(

Yeah, morrowind likes to give a lot of warnings, especially when you install and uninstall mods and when using an existing savegame with new mods. But most of those warnings are harmless and doesn't affect the gameplay. The only time when something bad is going to happen is usually when morrowind gives you a message saying that it cannot find a script/mesh/texture, that can crash your game.

One suggestion - download the TESTool by ghostwheel (it is in the pinned thread 'tools for modder'). Even you are not modding, use it to clean all the unofficial ESPs before playing it. It helps a lot.

I would but i hav no idea how to save screen shots.

In your morrowind.ini file (should be in your morrowind game directory), change the following setting:

Screen Shot Enable=1

Then when you are in the game, just press 'Print Screen' and the screenshots will save to your morrowind directory as bmp files.
