Just wanted to say, I've played through SOA with Arath and he's a fantastic character. He's very well written - witty, charming and playful - yet realistic. He has flaws and that's obvious, it makes him more plausible.
Is there a TOB section? Because when I got to TOB he stopped talking, and he also has no epilogue. I admit I skimmed through the readme, so if it's mentioned in there, please forgive me for missing it.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this new character, it made a refreshing change when playing Baldur's Gate. And I really think it makes the game more gripping, to have such characters to interact with. So many games which are released nowadays seem to forget that it's the characters and the story which make the game successful (or not). My 3D Modelling and Animation class had something of a - well dispute - about this, though I'm glad to say fisticuffs were not involved.
I mean, look at Neverwinter Nights, 1 and 2! They pretty much cut the characters out, (and I personally thought the story was a bit weak). And it showed in their sales. I dread to think what Neverwinter will be like when it is released, (if it ever is).
I'm getting off topic, a bad habit of mine. So, in closing, thank you to Liam and everyone else who may have been involved in creating Arath, he's brilliant.

About Me
I've just about finished the first year of a degree in Interactive Media Design. So far, I'm finding it challenging but good fun.
I lost my beloved cat Dexter about four months ago now, and have adopted a four year old rescue cat, called Jess. I've moved into a new house and am trying to moved on from the loss.
Also, I am happily single, having decided marriage was definitely not for me! Hurrah!

Wonderful Work

I've now played through SOA and TOB with the Adrian romance active, and I just wanted to stop and let you know how much I enjoyed it.
The writing is insightful, poignant and at times, very funny. The character is well developed, but does not overshadow the main story line. The PID is thorough and relevant, and also very believable.
The music is lovely, very moving and emotional. Also the epilogue was realistic and very touching.
Fantastic work on this character, I only wish there was more of it - but that's just 'cause I'm greedy!
