In Topic: Confused with NEJ691. Can I install BP-BGT Weidu?

I remember those BoneLords or golems had no description for the 4.2b version.  When I played the short (version 13)and full 691 they had proper descriptions.  Probably not a goofup in the install.  Karimar what version are you playing again?  You may have some problems with items later on when you are in real time Athkatla.  Read this.
Ciao,
Hoppy

I'm playing NEJ2v42b + NEJ2v602 patch + NEJ2 biffer v3. Thanks for warning Hoppy, I'm sure I'll do something with it, but that's exactly the point of my post above! I am absolutely aware that some problems might occur. What's more - I have also installed CtB v.1.9 and I'm just waiting for the incompatibility issues. My choice...

Regarding the BoneThings - mine had some text string that must've belonged to the Caravan guy from Easthaven. It said sth like "I'm sorry, there's no caravan leaving town this week, blah blah blah blah" and so on. If I could quote it here it would take at least four lines of text. THat's why I couldn't see what those BoneLoosers were saying, I could only aswer them, but didn't really mind that since I had a feeling they had to be slain anyway.
If the trouble caused by my Mega(complicated)Mod were only such trivial, I'd be more than happy to play despite them. With all due respect to the modmakers - I don't expect their work will be flawless, they're not professional game developing studio. I think they are doing awesome job and I just take their mods as they are. In case of trouble I can always count on help from SHS community.

Hi, Ashen! Regarding the BP-BGT-NEJ installation I'd stick (and I did so) to seanas' post pinned here. I'm currently playing NEJ and so far I have only some minor problems in the Temple of the Forgotten God - some noblewomen were fighting mercenaries, bone golems' names were too long to be properly displayed (strings messed up). But that's all so far.   :whistling: Here's my WeiDU.log, so you can check the install details if you want to compare it with your plans.
But the truth is you have to apply to Vlad's requirements if you want to enjoy the unabridged NEJ game and have his support. Some players, including me, chose the BP-non-supported-by-Vlad-version, but then we have to accept all its limitations. I think that's absolutely clear and fair.  -_-
One thing I can tell you for sure - it's damn worth to play NEJ in any of its versions!

One more question - it's not important enough to start a new topic. ;) While playing NEJ I discovered that these northern locations don't appear on my Worldmap. Whether I'm in Easthaven or Kuldahar the map still indicates Waukeen's Promenade. It's not a big problem, and I'm definitely not going to reinstall the whole thing once again, but I'm just curious - should it be that way? There is a separated mini-map in the upper-left corner of Worldmap, that looks very "northern" (mountains, snow, etc.), but no locations there.

Karimar,
Just a heads up with the NEJ part. When your are done with part 1 and ready to go back you won't have a lot of time for major quests before NeJ part 2 so just grab your new party and finish 1 awesome mod. Also, if you have played the standalone version of NeJ you will notice some content is missing in the BP adaptation. Just the way it is. Still a blast to play, though.
Have fun,
Hoppy

Nice hint - thanks, Hoppy! So far I've decided to clear the first Dungeon level and collect some gold or items I could sell. Will be looking for some good equipment there in the north. ;)
Thanks again, guys! Wish me luck! :)

Thanks, Chev! Got that! :woot: My charname is a 'blade singer', so I will have at least half-a-mage. ;)
And what about the Dungeon? Will I get back there and be able to go through it as in standard SoA?
