I did have a few thousand bolts and arrows, but I droped them on the ground when the stutter began. I also tried to sell all my equipment to see if that would help, but it didn't.
I appended the BSC file.
I noticed something interesting when I adjust the frames per second the characters will move faster or slower and so will the clock in the bottom, but the lag happens at the same interval no matter the frames per second.
I read that the number of files in the override folder could cause a problem, but only if there's more than 1 Gigabyte and mine is 250mb, though there's more than 18.500 files and my computer halts for a second when I open the folder.
I never cleaned up the differents mods after the mega-install, as I didn't know how to do it. I 've seen some people talking about biff routines, but I'm not sure what that is.
Thanks for the interest in my troubles.
Try the attached and see if it gets any better. You didn't just start the SoS quests with the documents from the room upstairs in the Copper Coronet did you?
Thanks for the help, but unfortunately it didn?t work. I just had to replace the BALDUR.bsc file in the override directory, right?
I also tried to temporarily remove all bsc files from the override directory, but that didn?t do anything either. Can the game be accessing bsc files from other directories? The NEJ folders have quite some bsc files in them as well.
I?m playing a BGT mega install with most of the large mods installed including Never Ending Journey (NEJ); see my post above for details. This was the first install that I got to run really well.
I crossover to BGII, take care of the Candle Keep Chores and after clearing the first level of Irenicus Dungeon and entering the portal, NEJ kicks in and sends me to Icewind Dale, so I never enter The Copper Corronet. The lagging doesn?t show before a little in to the game in NEJ.
