It's an invisible guy that spawns to talk to you. Just like when you get those talking to yourself Slayer dialogues!

I think the game reads it as -1 Sorry, forgot to sleep... It's basically the highest value possible, like you'd use 99 or 9999 in decimal.

As for reputation and crime... Does CONTROLLED or ALLY work? If they do, you can keep the minion invisible via fade effect (check spirit trolls) and removal of foot circle.
