OK, worked it out, missed a stairway that's all.

Ok. Open up NI, open the override tab and scroll down to sgpedler.dlg.

Click the edit tab and scroll down till you see "Action" under the attribute field.
You *should* see something that looks like:
StartStore("SGPEDD1",LastTalkedToBy)

If not, then we have a fairly fixable problem.
If it *does* say that... Well, if it does, post here and we shall see what we can do.

Either way, post here what NI shows.

Sorry, taken me some time to get back as I've been away from the game and forums for a while.  

When I re-loaded the game, I could now speak to the 'wanderer', when I had finished he wanders off but I then see him at other places and still manage to speak and buy from him.  I guess that means everything's OK!

Not sure if this is the right place...but, I've searched and could not find an answer to my problem.  I have a BP mega install obviously with PSQ, I have completed the original planar sphere stonghold quest (albeit with a small problem that I had to CLUA in some demon hearts as when I went outside there was no demon plane!).  Now, I've had the sphere for over a week of game time and still no Teos, also when I speak to the knights they still have the old dialogues (no request to take them home), I assume then that the stronghold is still not mine.  Have I done something wrong?  Is there a fix to get the quests back on track?

I can't dual class at all, the button is just not active on me or any NPC. I tried with a few different combinations of race and class, and to make doubly sure I used the SHIFT+CTRL+8 trick to max out all stats at 18 then tried again. (But thinking about it, always as a fighter first).

I guess it must be something else I've installed! I have now settled on an elven Fighter/Cleric/Mage as I found that without XP limits he can progress without limit in all classes!

umm, you were playing a HUMAN character, weren't you? only humans can dual-class in BGII...

...don't quite remember if using human! But must be my problem because I've got Yoshimo and been able to dual him to a fighter!

Not sure if this question was sorted out, I have installed and played mega install for the first time and when I spoke to the peddler, I asked to look at his items, next second he says something like 'hope you liked what you saw' and then leaves, no item screen, no choices.

Should I be concerned or will I find him somewhere else?
