Journal Entry Question

19 April 2006 - 09:09 PM

I recall that in one of my old TUTU installs there was a feature which automatically displayed journal entries in the dialogue window. I thought it really added some color to the game and I was wondering if this feature exists for BGT_weidu... as part of a tweak pack or something?

I rarely remember to check my journal after completing quests, so that tweak clued me into a good deal of original bioware content that I had missed the first time around. Any suggestions?

Mod A-Mod B Compatibility

18 April 2006 - 10:04 PM

Do not post questions about installation order, mod A-mod B compatibility, or mod details here.

O.K. if this post gets deleted I'll understand why, but I have to ask anyway

Is there a thread where I can find information like this? And if not... is anyone working on one? I think it would be really helpfull for new users.

I just downloaded BGT_Weidu for the first time yesterday. I was intregued with the prospect of accessing the complete BG series in a single program and was really excited that it worked with the current BG1 NPC project. Looking at the above list, it seems like most of the major mods currently available are compatible with BGT_Weidu as well. But it's still damn tricky to figure out what works with what and where to get everything. I know in the past six hours I've been bouncing back and forth between at least 5 Infinity Engine modding sites trying to peice things together for myself) :D

BGT_Weidu seems like a really promissing format for people interested in playing the entire BG Saga with the new bells and whistles provided by all the hardworking modders out there. If you guys could put together a list like "All this stuff works together with BGT_Weidu and this is how to do it" that would be really cool for all the newcommers

Thanks again all for hearing me out
