After lurking on the background for a few weeks, I just had to finally register to express my thanks for the extremely enjoyable mod. I have always liked Edwin as a character (reminds me of my teenage crush on another evil wizard who wore red, namely Raistlin from Dragonlance Chronicles ) and was rather disappointed when it turned out that he was not romanceable in Baldur's Gate II. Even worse, being left with nothing better than that thoroughly unsatisfying Anomen for a love-interest... not good.

And now, two years after I first finished BG II, I found your mod. I have not finished playing through the romance yet, but I have loved every second of it so far. The writing is very good, the witty dialogue constantly makes me laugh, and what's best, the mod does such a beautiful job of fleshing out Eddie's character and making him loveable while keeping his sardonic nature intact. I never liked the way the original game played Eddie mostly for laughs and missed so many obvious opportunities for developing his character (and the other NPCs' too) further.

So, a big thank you for brightening up my week with your mod and making me play BG II again - I'm looking forward to more LTs with Edwin in Throne of Bhaal. Oh, and eagerly awaiting the flit pack for him too, of course. Keep up the good work!
