Urghhh

Now I am pretty sure it is ROT having the problem. I just reinstalled BG2+TOB+BG2 Fix pack v1+SOS1.11+TDD1.11+TS6.09+ROT2.0+ROTfix, start a new game, same thing, nothing happen, the PC just standing in the cage.

I think I will throw away ROT at the moment and replace it with NEJ, I still have the old nej4.02+patch 6.02 and I have the old install that works with BD-weidu, if the BG2 fix pack is not working well, I will use the old BD-weidu.

You had the same problem as me, try using this attached ar0602.bcs and copy it to your main override folder in Bg2 directory....
The problem was, there was never an ar0602.bcs in the Override folder, i copied it there and, voilá!

Okey, i think i solved the problem now. After installing Rot i copied the ar0602.bcs from the backup/0 directory into the Bg2/Override. And it fired up as it should now. Thou there isn´t any cutscene from RoTerror >: It doesn´t matter to me, just as it isn´t a sign that RoT isn´t working as intended.

Oddly enough, i don´t have any ar0602.bcs in my bg2/override folder, i´ll haxxor around and see what i can do about it.

Also, have you tried starting a new game with just the Fixpack and RoT and the RoT update installed? Nevermind, I see it won't start anyway. A couple of questions for you.



1. Do you plan on installing BGT-WeiDU?

2. Is this the AR0602.bcs from your RoT over.bak directory?



Try the attached AR0602.bcs after you rename it of course.

Yes, i tried without fixpack. Worked fine then, and same with fixpack alone too. But together, no no >:

1.If i plan to install BGT-Weidu. Well, I don´t own Baldurs Gate 1 at the moment. Would it solve the problem somehow ?


2. No, from the Backup/0 directory, found two of those ar0602.bcs, but they were the same size and both in ROT directory.

Oh, another thing. I own Baldurs Gate 2 cd and expansion, but the Bg2 cd broke when a friend borrowed it, so im installing Bg2 on a ripped / copied .iso cd´s now, can that be the cause you think ?

I´ll try out your .bcs file now, thanks a thousands ;D
