There appears to be an exit in the southeastern corner of the map (X=3246, Y=3793) which leads to AR80PB but there is nothing there.
This new area appears identical to the "you have been waylaid by enemies" area between map locations but there is nothing there expect a couple of gnolls and a worg. I'm calling it a secret area because visiting it does not cause it to appear on the world map.
Searching the area reveals nothing and it is possible to exit to the north (back to AR4300 Cloudpeak Mountains) and return again... no enemies this time only corpses of the enemies you have slain.
Is this new area linked to some mod... may be it's part of some quest that I have not yet triggered? My WeiDU.log attached:

Minsc suddenly started a dialogue with Imoen in which he talked about how good it was to have her back in the party. Irenicus is mentioned and Imoen talks about the death of Khalid and Dynaheir so it is all very BGII.
Is this a known bug? BGT-WeiDU related or something else?

Kagain-related dialogues

I picked up Kagain in Beregost and in order to do so I had to drop Xzar/Monty. I know that Xzar/Monty come and go together but what' I found interesting was that when I chose to remove Monty it triggered a dialogue between Imoen and Khalid.
I had to reload for some reason and again dropped Monty with the same result (Imoen/Khalid dialogue) so I don't think it's a coincidence.
I had to reload a third time and this time happened to remove Xzar and it triggered a strange dialogue between Jaheira and Kagain in which she accuses him of dragging the party on a quest to find his caravan and then demonstrating a lackadaisical attitude (well, something to that effect). This is a dialogue I would have expected at the end of Kagain's caravan quest so it must be a bug.
It's just a bid odd but doesn't cause any gameplay issues so I continued and we found the caravan at which point Kagain started running around in circles. I know that this is a known bug but I have BG1NPC4BGT installed... was it not fixed in that? I did manage to get around it by dropping Kagain and then picking him up immediately at which point he talks about having found the boy's body and being a marked man. Only problem is that you don't get any reward (gold/XP) for having done the quest.
As I said, this is not really a problem but thought I'd mention it in case the dialogue issue was not known.

Harper assassins want to kill Xzar in BG1

I have Xzar/Monty in my party and every time I venture in to the crossroads south of the Friendly Arms Inn, a group of Harper assassins led by Lucette dimension door in and launch a frenzied attack that my level 2 party can not cope with.
I'm pretty sure I have the latest version of BGT-WeiDU Zeta (downloaded and installed on 28th Dec 05) so is this supposed to happen or is it a bug. How do I win this seemingly unwinnable fight?

NPC customisation in BGT

Is it possible to safely hack NPCs using an editor like Near Infinity? I have done this before for character stats and equipment but I'm wondering if it is possible to change NPC class and/or alighnment without any adverse effect (don't want to mess up storyline or quests).
For example, I'd like to change Jaheira to a true class Druid, Dynaheir to a Conjurer, Indira to a Fighter-Mage etc...
This is really the only way I can maintain a balanced party... most of the NPC mods I haven't tried or would like to use seem to be warrior type so am wondering if it would be safe to modify some to spellcasting types; e.g., Solaufein, Yasraena, Saerilith, Indira, etc...
