There is another option... removing some of the BG1 fighting music and use the BG2 fighting music instead in BG1. That will keep the BG1 area music, and still keeps the BG1 part as an introducé to BG2 (without BG1 being too monotone in its music). And don't forget the tavern music from BG2 is the same as the tavern music from BG1; so only around eight of the following BG1 files can be kept outside the BGT Weidu mod: BC1, BC2, BD1, BD2, BF1, BF1, BL1, BL2, BP1, BP2, BW1, and/or perhaps a few BG1 area music no one really cares about. Anyhow, I think that would be a better option than to remove the area music that is so characteristic for BG1, like the TDay1 tune and so one.We are trying to introduce a BG1 part of the game into BG2, not vice versa. So you should accept that something from BG1 music is skipped. I don't think that ppl will be satisfied if they'd hear some BG1 tunes during their ToB exploration. So, sorry, there's no other options.

Hmm, I see. BG2 has 156/2= 78 music files, and BG1 has 68/2=34 music files. But isn't it an option when (some of) the fighting music from BG1 is replaced for the ones in BG2? Personally I think the normal area music is of greater importance than the fighting music. And maybe a bit from the BG2 music list can be deleted as well, so when playing through BG1 the ambiance is less monotone. Perhaps an idea? Not without compromising BG2 music. In brief, there is something called SONGLIST.2DA that can only accept 100 lines of different music. Combining BG1 and BG2 music will give over 100 lines and the game refuses to start with a C error. Therefore, there must be sacrifices made for the game to be playable at all. This means that BGT-WeiDU cannot include all the music, and scripting the music has been deemed nearly impossible.

Well, to be honest, I think the music is of real importance to the gaming experience. But what do you mean with the unavailability of every single piece of music in BG1? In the old BG1 there is a CDay1 and a CDay2 (this is the Carnival one), but in the BGT-one there is only one CDay (also the Carnival)? but there aren't any TDays's. (Why) can these things not be fixed? Will editing some lines (in the are-files) and overriding the music files to the override folder not work?Well, you should know that some of the music has been changed due to unavailability of every single piece of music in BG1. If you don't like it, then tough for now, because installing 0.94 is suicide, seriously!
If there is some incorrect assignment of music and the music is imported into BGT-WeiDU, then I can fix that, but otherwise, you are out of luck. Music isn't such a big problem, though, hey?
Thanks anyway.

Anyhow, I will now try BGT094b instead of BGT099b3, perhaps that will make a difference.
