This thread makes me belive that there should be a "game finder" thread somewhere. Sure we may be all spread out, but a few might be able to meet/game.

Another thing you can try; My local shops have boards where you can post lookign for players/DMs. Just watch out for the tards that want to bring thier lv50 fighter/30 druid/35 Mage/47 Paladin (this was a CN character and was before 3rd ed), half red dragon/Half gold dragon characters. Before you laugh, I did talk to someone on the phone wanting to play that. I hung up, he called back and yelled at me that I was "cramping his creativity". Needless to say, I just blocked him number and told him where to stick his +12 Holy Avenger/Vorpal blade of Wounding (not making that up either).

k, I'm new to this site and all, but me and some of my family love D&D and the RPG games including stuff anywhere from BG (xbox and PC) and other forgotten realms games. But as for being able to play online (I'm assuming that's what your talking about, if I'm wrong feel free to insult my intellegence) But my brother is starting up this site. There's a little bit of a twist to it though.. All the game play is the same, and rule of the newest addition apply.
But since my mom loves to complain about how she thinks killing monsters and the like is evil (I know, she just dosn't understand-lol) My brother decided to that you gain experience not by the monsters you kill, but the "good deeds" or "bad deeds" you do in the game. so good or bad, you still level up, but you can choose light or dark side (bringing a little stars wars in there) so in that sense, it's a lot like knights of the old republic and fable.

One more thing though, then I'll shut up. This part I think people would be in the most dissagreement with, but in hopes of pleasing my mom he put a church spin on it (don't lash out just yet) you can complete training worksheets to gain more experience and stuff, that deal with scripture references and bible reading and what not.
So Yeah, it's all the same expcept when it comes to leveling up. Just check out the site if you want to know what I mean.
