Gilgamesh,

I really wanted to get beyond the fire giants to continue the game so I started cheating. I cntr-y the giant as soon as I could see him, and the game wouldn't crash, but if I waited to long, the game crashed. I think you are right, in that the problem was a corrupted animation. So yes, I got beyond the giants, but only by cheating.

Oh well... go ahead but i just killed them and spawned them again and it worked... now im fighting Hephaestus with Cadderly and i got another bug :( Cadderly NEVER tell me to use the object on the dragon... he just cast healing spells all the time... Hepahestus was "Near Death" State for like 500+ damage and nothing happens... Everyone alive in the party, dont understand whats wrong :( HELP!

OK, I wandered around and finally found the fifth book, then went through the locked door.

Three vampires appeared, I killed them, then a giant showed up.  When I attacked the giant, the game crashed.

I have patched up to patch 5.  Any ideas?

I think the requirement was about 1.5 million XP.

After youŽve killed the female mage upstairs (donŽt recall her name) and fighting has ended, Olmar should talk to you. If that doesnŽt happen, IŽll have to look into it.

Olmar talked with me after I found the stairway going up and we took out the mages. Doh! :fish:
