Minsc can not cast spells, why?

He can access the spell book and remeber, but the icon of cast spell is disabled.

ts

DSotSC
NTotSc

After I helped Seniyad,he gave me a task to rescue 2 persons. One man's name is beador.
When we entered cloakwood(North) map, we met 5 shadow druids and berdor who lay on the ground. Jaheira said we must help him.

After the battle, even beador was still alive, Jaheira and Khalid left.

Why? Did I do something wrong? (My reputation = 20)
Help, please.

Update: the NPC's name is beader,sorry.

I have tried it once again.

I did exactiy as the order in

before Iinstalled the TDD-Fix6, everything ok. after that, I can not play bg1,only soa and tob!

Is my installation order correct?

I installed as the instructions in http://www.shsforums...nce&f=261&id=13.

When I finally had installed Fixes for TDD, SOS, TS (TDD-fix6, SOS-Fix5, TSBP-Fix2) and started the game , I could just play SOA or TOB, I could NOT play bg1 !

Was I wrong?
