I'm getting the exact same crash. I am currently in the Underdark. I'll refrain from sleeping outside until I'm back on the surface and see if that makes a difference.
EDIT: Nope. No difference, though I did manage to get around it by telling her I was interested in her story, then instead of asking her to continue I told her I wanted to retire. That sets off the next dialogue after rest.
