First, I want to thank this mod community, You guys are doing an awesome job,
If for some reason the wined3d dlls don't work for you...
try my http://bitpatch.com/ddwrapper.html with the NoVideoMemory option enabled.
It's the only dll that so far is working for my Windows 8 64-bit config, all the others that i' ve tried hang during startup.
I'm looking forward to the mouse trails flickering fix on Win8, but at least the game now is very fast and the spells effects look great.
