So I've found when playing with creature patching, that when assigning some colours to a creature, any area that holds that creature will crash the game before loading.

Which I sorta don't want to happen...

Is there a list somewhere that says which colours are 'out of bounds'?

Was informed elsewhere that colours under about 68-69 are for character sprites.

Skie from BG1.  Partly it's just that her implementation is a little bugged - there are references to her missing brother and her father is murdered, but she hardly reacts at all.

And, her relationship with Eldoth is immutable - there's no development in the original game so she starts off being deceived by a slick-tongued conman, and she ends the game being deceived by a slick-tongued conman.

So that's Skie:

- late to recruit;

- either you find her portrayal of a stereotyped Rich Teenage Girl to be highly irritating; or

- you find her sympathetic, in which case the death of her family, and Eldoth in his entirety, is just so sad.

(I know they didn't do friendship tracks in original BG1.  This still bothers me.)

YAY! I figured it out! Appearantly, the music file for the Undercity was a different format than it's supposed to be(it was a .WAV). I changed it to the correct format and now it works! Frankly, I have no idea how that got messed up... the only mod I have that has anything to do with music is the BG1 NPC Project Music Pack...)

The real soundtrack - is it... is it good?

(And, for future reference, what are you supposed to change the format to?  Do you just change the extension?)
