I am on this mission as well, but my problem is that there is no guard to talk to in the training field. The 10 monks are all there, but nobody else, any suggestions? I looked this up in the walkthrough, and I noticed that I did not get attacked by bandits on the way to the training ground, if that matters at all.

ok sorry for asking so many questions but the manual install guide says I should install 1.0 of redemption, but I have 1.2.  1.2 is ok to use, right?  Also, I dont have to worry about Ascension if I use BP, right?  I just don't wanna screw this up again :(

thank you, but I think I'll just start over with a fresh install.  Any other weidu mods I can add in later after redemption right? I mean compatible ones of course.

And I'm a little confused about installing CtB.  What I did was download the corefiles and v150gamefiles self extracting exe files.  I double clocked on corefiles.exe first, and after that was done, i did the same to gamefiles.exe.  I couldn't make out exactly what to do based on the instructions from the ctb website, so I just improvised.

doh....I just started the auto install and forgot to check the "misc baldurdash fixes" for the shadows of soubar install. Is there any way to rectify that mistake or do I have to start over?

i need to know this too, as I can't get speeds of more than 5 kps at either the homepage or the wizard's mirror, and sometimes it doesn't work at all  :(
