Thanks, now I am running into some install.bat issues. I think that this is because I did not turn off UAC and instead just hit "OK". I have noticed that it says, "applying tweak pack to XYZ" and every time I restart that file name changes to the next one in the alphabet. I am worried that if I fix this issue by disabling UAC that it will skip over the first few files when it is applying the patch. I am not sure if I have to redo the entire install at this point.
Edit: I think I fixed them. I ran Trimpack, fixpack and install pack from an administrative command line. I was able to boot into the game and clearly things have changed. My res is higher, the initial UI is different and I have more class options. I think it worked though I will have to test it out further later this week. Thank you for this great software.

I just used this. The Auden mod didn't work because his Mediafire account has been suspended. A handful of other media fire mods seemed to not auto download, but I got them manually: Randomizer, Volcanic, Kariv, wikaede, item revisions. I will test later and let you know how it works.

I think that the modders are extremely hypocritical when they are willing to appropriate Black Isle IP without permission but then get upset if someone uses their mod with attribution in a way that they didn't explicitly authorize. That being said, what is the difference between the repack that he describes and a BWS which remotely fetches the files? Would the admins of this site allow OP to make a repack of every mod whose creator approves and then have some way to integrate the few remaining mods? If I could download 1 repack and then 5 misc. mods that would be much, much easier then doing the whole thing by hand.

Thank you for taking this project on. I own both BG1 and BG2, but I don't really want to go through and individually download each file. You mentioned that there is some custom XML data structure that you are using. Perhaps you could upload a sample to Github so that people can start adding addresses. I am not programmer, but I could add some links to XML.

So I was able to get the files from BWS. Then I ran BWI and it hung part way through. It also got quite a few error messages, specifically around Big World Fixpack. Now BG won't launch.
Anyone have an idea about how to diagnose / fix this?
Debug log attached.
