Just doing some fiddling around in Icewind dale.
Multi class characters only get 1 or 2 quick weapon slots, Is there a way to change this?
Or is this tied to the number of pre-programmed actions slots (Defend, attack, Find traps, Thieving, Stealth, Cast Spell)
There doesn't seem much info on this around.
And if i can't change the number of quick slots, can i change/remove some of the actions?

Creating a Script/Batch file to Modify many CRE Files?
07 December 2011 - 02:56 PM
Many Many Moons ago I made a few "mods" for BG1&2 - namely multiplying the HP and Exp rewards for all creatures.
Back then I did it by manually editing each and every .CRE file.
Now Im back and have the Big World Project installed (standard).
I wonder if anyone knows how to write a script/batch file that does the following:
Open the 1st .CRE file in a large list of them.
Make simple changes to HP/Exp/Saving throw/AC/Thaco fields - eg multiply current and max HP by 2x, ExP add 50.
Save and Override the .CRE file.
Repeat with the next .CRE file down in the directory
etcetcetc
Jarno suggested I try mixmod - this mod appears to partially do the trick, but it doesn't allow any Exp changes, and i dont need the mixmod changes to ammo/scrolls/potions etc.

Continual Headaches Installing Big World.

Hi guys.
Many many moons ago I did a little Baldurs Gate modding - My mod was limited to increasing the HP/Exp rewards from all monster kills.
However I am having a devil of a time getting the Big World mod installed.
All I'm attempting to install is the 'stardard' build.
BG1+ToTSC+Correct patch installed to C:\Games\BGI
SoA+ToB+Correct patch installed to C:\Games\BGII
Ive tried both the Big World Project 10.2 and the Big World setup 9.2
Best "progress" i can get (with BWS 9.2) is something along the lines of:
-Summary-
These selected downloads are defect:
BG2 Fixpack
Item Revisions
BG1 Mini Quests and Encounters
Gavin NPC
Amber NPC (SoA)
Kivan and Deheriana Companions
Auren Aseph NPC
Sarah NPC
Angelo NPC
Haldamir NPC
Gavin NPC for BG2
Spell Revisions
Sword Coast Stratagems
Alternatives
Crossmod Banter Pack (BG2)
Sword Coast Stratagems II
BG2 Tweak Pack
IA Content - Miscellaneous NWN Animations I
Level 1 NPCs
Finished.
And this is when I have manually downloaded mods like the BG2 tweak pack and BG2 fixpack.
I know the GibberlingsIII download page was down recently, and it seems many of the links no longer work, but do work if I manually browse there? *sigh*
BWP is just missing files and install errors all over the place.
What IS the best Big World install to try?
Any up to date step by step guides around? Im getting terribly confused wandering the forums with all the different versions, revisions, and help posts dating back years.
