Personally I found NWN a huge flop. Compared to The BG series it is a shallow reflection.If you have endless hours to build your own game mods(I don't) maybe you could squeek something interesting out of it.

It seems to me that the switch to 3-D graphics systems is wrecking most RPG story telling and character development.

My hope is that Dragon Age will address this problem, but I'll probaby have to buy a new computer to play it!

I actually found an even better way by accident.After the battle first starts and he moves NE in the room he freezes there (at least for me) if you send some summoned creatures for him to attack.He is covered by the black junk that you clear through movement (fog of war?)

At this point I made some area attacks (dragon breath,Horrid writing,etc.)Well he took all the damage but didn't come after me.Bad AI?
After bombing him that way a while he's toast.

As long as he's covered it's a pretty easy battle on any setting as long as you survive the initial salvos he lays on you.

Kind of a cheat I guess,but after the time I spent trying to get through him by normal means to hell with it.

How do you know that they were wiped out?

Not sure but when I search for all the CELOGAN files in the override folder all I get are the DLG files. If I'm looking for the wrong files(which is possible)then I don't know where to start.I'm a novice at all the modding stuff.
