and balanced i would say... : it is a jail of an ubber sorcerer and it is not ilych of tactic mods.
Sorry to say that... but do you know... : chromatic orb++, doom++, slow++, dispell magic +++, magic missile, great curse, chaos, arrow of fire, panic, horror etc...., invisibility potions or spell etc....

I precise that i appreciate this fight.... ( a good fight )
I don't like time stop, improve alacrity and other powerful spells... ( except for lich, special epic foes ...), these spells in my opinion aren't appropriate for him : in fact he is above all a sorcerer of Pure Magic, completly different of irenicus.
This fight is cool because the sorcerer uses new spells... finally i prefer that compared to the tortured scripts of tactics mods, and for the modder prefered that .... : new spells are more interesting that trying to find the ultimate combination of spells which will kill quickly all your team...
But truly i have more difficulties with fights of battles mod or tactics mod ( like kuroisan, at middle level ) that against him.
But thank to react ...

This discussion is interesting...i want to add my point of view

3 facts
*Xp : 3.500.000 after the underdark with BP "vanilla" + nej ( 200.000 xp for each member for this mod.) i can kill drizzt with improved alacrity...
*TDD spells are very powerfull...and it is difficult to say "i am not going to use it ": it is an interesting part of BP the new spells
*items very powerful ( bloodbane!, vecna ( *3!( tdd, sos and soa( new merchant)), celestial fury(nej) a ring of TS etc..) same problem as above .
I agree with Hlid but the fact is we know all the system of fights, where are the creatures..thus it is difficult to say : i am not going to buff my team to play in a true RP(?)
I think mods make evoluate BG2...and the "cheese" of battles or tactics are logical to keep the challenge...
I want to add too, i finished BP with a" poor team" with the highest difficulty

i think it is a good idea and maybe more simple to add ?Would it be possible to increase the XP needed for each level of al the classes by say 50%, or is that hard coded?

Normally the tomb is opened ( in my game it was accessible even at chapter 2...)

Are you sure that HP wanted in BP bohdi of tactics ?since the improved bodhi component of tactics is supposed to be hardwired into bp.
i remember to have done it without her or perhaps just the beginningR u sure I can still do the quest even without Selence
but without her i am sure you can access to the lair with the monsters etc..
