Im playing again and Im having problems in my game with the first dream sequence of the the imoen romance. Im running the classic mega-mod and have had only a few problems that Ive been able to solve. When the dream sequence starts Imoen teleports in (IMDREAM.CRE into AR26MR.ARE) and I get some internal dialog about floating crystals forming some sort of stained glass window, and then some further internal dialog about trying to touch the crystals, but being stopped by a force field. It seems like a problem with my dialog references. Ive inspected the CRE and it seems like the dialog is correct, but I dont pretend to understand the dialog/string reference mechanism, so my guess is that the string references in dialog.tlk? are screwed up. Also, for the life of me I cannot figure out how IMDREAM.CRE is teleporting into AR26MR. AR26MR.ARE has no area script and there is nothing in the baldur.bcs.
So here are my two questions:
a - How does IMDREAM.CRE get teleported in to the area? I mean, what mechanism is used to invoke this action?
and
2 - Can someone please explain or point me to a good reference for how the dialoging/string reference stuff works?
Of course if someone knows precisely what is going on with this specific problem or thinks Im off the mark with my string ref idea, please chime in.

Anyone ever put together a suggested quest order for the mega-install for maximum challenge and enjoyment? I suspect not, but thought I solicit suggestions as I begin to embark on BGII. Suggestions are welcome.

Damage never varies

I started noticing some really high damage values from some of my missile wielding party members and started playing around trying to figure out why and I noticed that the damage delt was totally consistant. For instance, Imoen always deals 12 hp of damage with a standard short bow, regardless of whether Im using standard arrows or +1 arrows. If I switch to the eagle bow, she always deals out 21hp of damage. Ive only begun to anaylize the issue, but it seems a consistant problem with my other missile wielders. The damage is a different for sling and crossbow wielders, but seems unfailingly consistant. I will continue to test this, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this phenomenon.
Sorry, my roommate was playing on the easiest level and I turned it all the way up to insane (the level I usually play at) and the hp vary again. I guess novice deals max damage everytime.

linking bam to cre

I understand that the animation id in the cre makes some hard coded reference to the bam file, so how do modders associate the two? I use NI for editing. How can I figure out which .bam file is associated to my cre?
