The Mighty Boot Of Justice

Ok , after lots of help last year getting me up and running , I got BWP all installed. It automatically chose the mods to install then installed them for me.

Unfortunately due to a hard drive failure, I'm having to start all again!

I'm pretty sure I was using BWP10, but now there is a BWP 11, and this is where my confusion starts. Will it not automatically choose mods to download for me , or do I now have to select them individually? I was quite happy with the set up that was chosen for me last time, so would like to do that again, but cannot find any way of finding/installing BWP10

HAve I completely got the wrong end of the stick? Will BWP11 do this for me as well, but I just haven't figured it right? Having looked through the helps, some go to pages that no longer exist , and some go to pages in German language that I do not understand!

I have fully installed BG1/TOTSC/GGII/TOB. I have patched them. I have started games and quicksaved then exited the game.

Please could you tell me what to do now? I really don't want to have to choose and download individual mods unless I really have to.

Hi , having a bit of a problem and hoping someone can help. I teamed up with Edwin, and freed Dynaheir (though I didn't take her into the team or kill her) , but now I cannot find Minsc! I've gone to the Southern part of Naskel town, but he's nowhere to be seen.

Have I done something wrong, or am I looking in the wrong place? Will I now have to play the WHOLE of the rest of the game without him? (I hope not!)

Any help GREATLY appreciated.

Just wanted to say that thanks to this forum I've successfully installed and am enjoying my new Baldurs Gate experience. I can't believe just how big the gameworld is now , and everything seems to have been intergrated so seemlessly I'm struggling to to see which bits are from the original game and which are additions.

It's like playing BG3 in many ways , but with all the best bits from the first two games - and this is only my first playthrugh. I get the feeling that I've got a LOT of gaming in front of me!

Hi guys , this is my first post so please be gentle!

I heard about the BWP some time ago. I've been a big fan of the BG series since it first came out. Having completed it several times unmodded, I feel I am now ready for a new experience!

I would just like advice , along with an idiot's guide to modding the trilogy in the best way possible. If someone could give me a steo-by-step instruction on how to do this , and what mods to use that will be compatible with each other I'd be really grateful.

I have managed to successfully update my copy of PT, so am not totally useless, but the step-by-step instructions I got were definately required.
