Hello.

When I run the BiG world install program everything installs fine up until BGT. But after BGT almost every mod fails to install. Many error messages say that I don´t have BGT installed (which reported that it was sucesfully installed) and that I don´t have ToB (Which I do) and that they can´t find files.


Is it possible that previous mods deleted or overwrote files?

Setings

Windows7
BG1 installed in C:\Users\Jeff\Desktop\BG1
BG2 installed in C:\BWP\BGII - SoA
6 Disc version of BG1
UAC is off
Anti-virus is off
No CD in disk drive
BG2 and 1 are patched.
Weidu version 22900
BG1 missing files installed
Internet disabled.
Oh and I downloaded all the mods manually without Big world setup (but I used the links given through the program).

I´m having problems during the installation with the BG1->BG2 Area Fileset Converter.

Here´s an example.

Usage : tis2bg2 [options] input_area_name output_area_name


Options : -s silent mode
-sw suppress warning messages
-h save TIS header (for \override\ use)
-d delete input area tileset after conversion
-l write log file (tis2bg2.log)


Examples : tis2bg2 -h AR3300 myfolder1\AR6700
tis2bg2 -l myfolder1\AR3300 myfolder2\AR6700 -s -h -d


This program handles area's .wed, .tis, .mos and .bmp's.
For a complete area conversion .are and .bcs should be provided separately.



Error : Invalid input area name

After the installer ends and I try to play the game BG1 crashes during the load page after making the character. BG2 and ToB seem to work fine.

Hello.

The BWP installer tell´s me that the BG1 patch 5512 isn´t installed on my computer. Which is untrue. I´ve tried reinstalling the patch multiple times but to no avail.

I´m having a bit of a situation here. When I run the BiG World Install.bat file the initial choices go as planned, but then I receive some strange options for every mod.

The following text appears.

Setup-Tob-Ex.exe: unknown option `--language`
Weidu (version 185: "dissertation draft done: 147 pages")
usage: WeiDU [options} BAF, BCS, D, DLG, TRA, TP, TP2-files

General Input Options

--game x - set main game directory to X
--nogame - do not load any defult game files
--search x - look in C for input files
--tlkin x - use X as Dialog.Tlk
--ftlkin X - use X as Dialogf.tlk
--tlkmerge x - merge x into loaded Dialog.tlk
--yes answer - all tp2 questions with `yes`
--uninstall - answer all TP2 questions with ýes´
--reinstall - reinstall all installed TP2 components
--ask-every - ask about every TP2 components

There are follow up questions to this and it asks for every single mod I downloaded. I went though all the mods just answering the first options but none of the mods installed correctly.

What I did.
Installed outside program files (had to change install.bat to recognize Baldur´s Gate 1´s position)
Patched games.
UAC is off
No virus program running.
No CD in disc driver.
Oh and I downloaded all the mods manually without Big world setup (but I used the links given through the program).



So what am I doing incorrect here? Thanks for assistance.
