I'm not sure, if this is the correct subforum, but I couldn't find one more suitable. If neccessary please move the thread and I apologize for any inconvenience.

I'm currently trying to set up a modded game of BG & BG2 Extended Editions with EET connecting both games. I'm using the EE game setup tool instead of BWS (that I've used in the past with the unextended games) as I've read that the EE setup tool is the more up-to-date program to handle this task.

Unfortunately, I get an installation error that halts the entire process. The problem is with the Setup-EET.exe:

I also added the complete debug file in case it helps.

I'm not new to using mods with IE games, I've also used Tutu and BGT in the past. I am an EE-virgin, but the Weidu-mods seem to work still the same way (and in any case the EET setup tool seemed to do all the heavy lifting for me), so I don't think I did something wrong - or at least I can't find my mistake myself. Also the games are up to date, downloaded from GOG a few days ago. The setup tool should also be the current version, as should the mods (which were downloaded by the tool).

I would have emailed the debug file to K4thos, but there was no adress provided. I also can't post in the Gibberlings forum, as I've forgotten my password and the recovery process doesn't seem to work (I don't get an automated email). I've written a pm to K4thos here, but he was last online in september, so it might be a while until he sees it - and I'm itching to go back to the Sword Coast!

So I'm hoping someone here might have an idea what I'm doing wrong. I'd appreciate any assistance!
