In Topic: Imoen's sexuality

As far as I know there is nothing in the game which indicates this one way or the other, but I don't doubt that people have strong views on the matter, so express them here. Some sort of explanation for your view is, as ever, superior to the choice alone.

She has a talk with Haer'Dalis in Throne of Bhaal that indicates heterosexuality. Something about Haer'Dalis telling her he wished he could comfort her etc etc, sweet talking her in his charming way, and she seems quite touched at a point, due to the classic use of "I..."

Ofcourse, if anyone wants to over-analyse anything, there's that bit where she says she dreams about dryads - meaning there could be a bit of lesbian in her if she's dreaming of women.
Something about that dialogue doesn't convince me though, I can't place it, but I say she's heterosexual.

But if you wanna make her bisexual, do so. I'm kinda nummed to arguing over peoples' sexuality nowadays, and there's so many fanfics out there that make her involved in lesbian stuff. Most are done badly though, but I'll keep my opinions on fanfics outta this ;)

Yeah, I agree with Guest... Mirri doesn't like Eldoth, this is a plan to get that dragon scale or something, which Eldoth has, and Jon (knowing Eldoth fancies Mirri) has hatched a plan with Mirri to get it, seeing as she's a good thief.

Heh, my theory on what's going on anyway, I reckon Jon and Mirri musta had sex, since both wanted it as much as each other anyway, so she can't be crying about that - it's all an act!

Hehe, great stuff dorotea.. am I right in my theory? :P

I think, if she joined in SoA, it'd be a nice touch if, at the Tree of Life stairs, she says that she can't stick around after Irenicus has been defeated, so at the beginning of Throne of Bhaal she has disappeared and gone to Saradush, because, no doubt, Illasaera would see her otherwise, because she had been tracking the PC for a while after the Elven city.

Or, what if you convinced Il (if that was an option that is) to join you and Melissan was in your party too? That would present a small, no, large problem. I'd imagine you'd wake up to Il dead with a slit throat, if not then Illasaera would keep her distance from Melissan. Melissan might over-react to Il's death.. so you could get your suspicions.

The problem is, we've already played through ToB and we know that Melissan's the enemy. What would she do about Imoen too in SoA? She wants all of the Bhaalspawn to die so she can absorb Bhaal's energy, doesn't she?

Thanks, nice to see some more people noticing Nalia's road to corruption, maybe her epilogue should've been that she was decieved into doing something similar to what I said. She's not wise enough to gain a seat on the Council of Six. She may know her maths but she doesn't know where to use it properly (I mean, she's intelligent, but very unwise) ;).

About Melissan, maybe I should have replaced always been an evil bitch with probably chosen to be an evil bitch for a large part of her life since people seem to choose to take my words for what they say rather than using any common sense :| Ofcourse, any tragedy could have happened to turn her into what she is.

But, if there is a Melissan redemption, by the end of the game you could end up with Good Sarevok, Good Irenicus and Good Melissan. All your enemies which others considered irredeemable have been redeemed. It seems a bit too fantastic, even for a fantasy game. In ToB when Melissan was revealed as the enemy I was like "Oh, okay" - I was more shocked when Aribeth betrayed Neverwinter, and that's saying something. My point being that shows how she wasn't very much developed.

Think Hitler as a social worker in Jewish community. Does it work for you?

Well, apparantly, Hitler had a bit of Jewish blood in him, from way back in his ancestory. So it might work ;).

ToB is too short for a detailed romance I think, unless you wanna talk every 5 seconds :) The game could be edited so she comes to find you earlier on in Chapter 2 or SoA or something, but there's the very big problem that you both have the same dad (if it was a romance that is).

Phaere is still a prime candidate for redemption, and there wouldn't be any arguments over incest in a romance with her, but not that I'm planning anything, it's all hypothetical.

Oh please, Kish, you know what I mean, you're just purposely being difficult. She must have chosen to be a priestess of Bhaal. If she didn't even want to, there's a chance for her to run away from that life, and she continued being evil after the ToT. You presume too much to try and get on my nerves, but I'm not getting into a debate on this, so before you start, leave it alone.

Isn't it the official story that Bodhi was the puppeteer pulling the strings behind both their exiles?

I didn't know God was a RACE. Well, shows what I know about DnD. But my point was that he seems to have a human form, and having three HALVES is impossible.
