You need a weidu.exe in you bg2 folder. If you don't have one, copy one of those Setup files coming from a mod (for example Setup-BGT-Main.exe) and paste it. Name that copy "weidu.exe".

Now, once you start the command prompt, you need to type all the cd command between double quotes because there are spaces in the path.

cd "c:\program files\black isle\bgii - soa" (and then Enter)
(if you haven't used the default folder for installation, please modify the command above accordingly).

Your prompt will now be C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SOA> _ or something like that.

Now you can type the weidu thing like above.

Don't forget to hit Enter after each command.

Wouldnt it be just as easy to recommend people not familar with good old dos to make a batch file
and save that in the bg ii folder as a txt file

I've seen mentiones of BP 170 here and there - can someone point me to where it is? It seems to be a weidu version, but I've only been able to find BP 161, which doesn't seem to be weidu.

So how's the progress going?

Just released a (hopefully) stable version of my NWN mod. I've been concentrating on that mostly, as BP is in a much more stable state. Providing nothing crazy arises with it, I'll be putting my modding energy into BP from here on out.

As I finally got my ass back to work, I don't have the "all-day, all-night" modding time anymore. But I will keep pushing forward, at last.

No, no proposed dates or anything like that. I invoke the privilege of a for-free modder--the lack of prescribed deadlines!  

Try with a pure BP-BGT-NEJ and see if it works as intended. if it does then it is at least one off your additional mods that messes things up.
trial and error to find the one/ones that is "guilty" i recall some problems with immys charming rouge kit after installing UB and G3 Tweaks, could lvl her up but her weapon profienceis (sp ?) was messed up for good.

Yes it is and have for some months now, you should be able to download anyway, speed will be somewhat slow.
download manager is recomend.
