In Topic: An Evil Imoen option?

I couldn't see Imoen turning evil because someone was being a holier-than-thou pain in the ass. Usually she just deflects anything like that by teasing the person. Think about it, you would have to be more of a pain in the ass than ANOMEN. If it got really out of hand (think "sinners in the hands of an angry god" style criticism of her every action) for too long, I really think she would just leave or demand that person leave. She certainly wouldn't change alignment.

The diary itself could be written in some demon language, so you could find a way to open it but it would end up being pointless because you can't read it........

Yeah, but TNO has spent countless years in the blood war before. He must have learned their language to get anywhere other than front ranks with the lemures. With a high enough INT/WIS, there is no reason he couldn't recall it. Hell, with maxed out mental stats, he should be able to pull a Rurouni Kenshin-ish "I've watched you for two seconds and have therefore figured out your entire life's story. Also, here is the cure for cancer." manuever.

Charname and Imoen are incestuous to, but the romance does exist. It's not fair for us, poor females, to only have Anomen as love interest when males have so much possibilities. I rather like Kelsey, but he lacks some... Edwinism ? And Solaufein is sooooooooooooo boring.

Perhaps in the early days, but there are many options on both sides of the aisle, plus a few fence-straddlers.

Women: Tsujatha, Anomen, Kelsey, Valygar, Chloe, Coran, not to mention the large number in development.

Men: Viconia, Aerie, Jaheira, Kiara, Tashia, plus more in development.

Both: Imoen, Solaufein.

Puts the sexes about even.

In Topic: Time to reach Spellhold

To be fair, there are some serious continuity problems involved.
1: Yoshimo. When was he hired and geased? Did Irenicus intend for the PC to escape, and hired Yoshi in advance?
2: Spellhold. Irenicus does not make his move until you pay off one of the thieves guilds. What happens while Irenicus is locked up other than the nasty dreams?
3: It usually takes me 48 hours to clear out the vampires and do the first confrontation with Bodhi. Lets assume 7 days from the payoff to getting into Spellhold. How does Irenicus get all of that equipment and thieves, finish up the experiments, and strip away Imoen's soul? That is one round-trip supply shipment from spellhold.
4: How can Bodhi beat the PC to Spellhold, and have time to play around with thieves for long enough for Irenicus to make note of it?

The timeline is loaded with problems.

1. He could have hired him as a servant and geased him as part of the deal. Yoshi could have also been one of the people who captured CHARNAME. He was fairly quick-thinking, so making up some cock-and-bull story about being captured wouldn't be too hard.

2. The cowled wizards are not rank amatuers. They hold some very powerful mages in Spellhold, and so there would have to be some pretty heavy-duty wards up to keep the inmates from escaping and blowing up the entire island. It would probably even take a mage of Irenicus's caliber a while to figure out a way around them.

3. Bodhi had clearly been operating for quite some time before the PC escaped. She could have been rounding up thieves in preparation for the experiments, and shipped them over after spellhold was overthrown. A teleport circle would be well within Irenicus's powers to set up, allowing bulk transport of prisoners. Also, the former master of the island had been performing experiments on inmates. Jon could modify the equipment already in place to match his needs.

4. A teleportation spell coud be easily had.

That is stretching a bit thin in places, though.

In Topic: Imoen Romance - Lessons Learned

I'd like to add my voice to those of the opinion that that Lord Mirrabo placed a heavier emphasis and exaggeration on the random "chaotic" replies than humor or alignment required. Most degenerated, and forced you to either say "Oh, I'm just joking. What was it you said?" and continue on the conversation normally, or have the PC's behavior become out-right insanity.

Imoen did seem to have an overactive libido, but I'm not sure if it would be wise to pass judgement on that area of the mod just yet. There is a dialogue wherein Imoen talks of her fears about their relationship becoming completely about sex, and in a possible outcome (seemingly the main one) she basically decides to stop being such a horn-dog and start focusing more on having a "sweeter" relationship. This is a later dialogue, so the results would not be seen until the TOB part of the mod. There are other things, such as the sparseness of meaningful reaction from other characters, but I think that a really informed opinion could be formed only when the TOB portion of the mod has come out. It promises to be at least twice as large as the SOA portion.

I would also like to say I don't see why the bisexual thing is a big deal. Imoen was given zero development in BGI, aside from the whole childhood friend deal, which is standard fantasy fare. In SOA, I cannot even remember any dialogues with her related to sexuality in any form. The lack of info on the issue seems to put it under modder's prerogative.
