Hi, just one question:
I've just started SoS, went to Soubar for the first time. Before going to the Barracks I left all of my equipment in my stronghold, just left a few unimportant items to put in that box I get. After talking to Major, I was supposed to talk to Sergeant and get the new equipment from him, but he doesn't show up - and the Major "has nothing to say to you". Can you give me Sergeant's CLUA code so that I can create this creature? Thanks a lot!

BG1&2 with mega mod - LAGGING!
22 January 2011 - 07:19 AM
Hi,
I have a problem with Baldur's Gate 1&2 (with mega mod including BGT) game. It keeps lagging all the time, quite regularily - about twice a second. The lagging doesn't occur when the game is paused or in the menu (equipment, spells etc.) - only during gameplay. The mouse lags and everything lags - my characters can't walk normally, they just stop for a moment and walk, stop, walk... It's really annoying. I turned off all the ambient sounds and 3D acceleration in the game configuration and it didn't help. I noticed it's a bit better when I get rid of the bags of holding (found such solution on a forum) - but I can't get rid of them (too many things for quests etc.), I just sold most items.
My computer has Windows 7 x64, 6 GB RAM, ATI 5650 mobile graphic card, i7 mobile processor... Such an old game shouldn't lag... When I play the game, my laptop becomes quite loud. The CPU usage is about 13% then, but I guess one of the cores is a bit loaded. I've heard it's possible to run the game on one core and it could help, but I have no idea how to do it.
If it helps - I'm using widescreen mod (1600x900) and many more from the Big World Project's list of recommended mods. All works fine (I'm in the 4th chapter now) except from this annoying lagging. I'm sure there's a way to fix it, all in all it's a new and qute good machine and such an old game shouldn't be so demanding;)
Thanks for any tips!

Mega Mod - quests in German??
10 January 2011 - 01:19 PM
Hello!
I have a problem;) I installed a mega modification using Big World. I installed only the recommended mods, and of course not all of them, just the ones I wanted. Everything seemed fine - but then, in my game, I met a few characters talking in... German:/ There's a woman standing near a hut close to High Hedge, a dwarf (maybe more than one, I can't remember) in Beregost, also someone in the Friendly Arms Inn, and a woman in Naskhel (Frau Brunnstein is her name, at least in German:) with a missing son.
I was sure I checked all mods on the list in the BiG World menu - if they're in English, and so they were, I think... I remember that near the end of the installation process there was an option about the language - and I can't remember which one I chose, of course. Did any of you had such a problem - and happen to know the solution? I'd be grateful, as I don't speak German at all and I don't want to miss these quests... But I also don't want to start the game again:/ Maybe it's possible to reinstall the mods, and load my current saves - will they work?
Thansk for the tips... if you have any!
