I have been hit with it too!
I have recently re-installed BG-BP-BGT with the latest BWS and now experience occasional neon-pink clothes effects.  And, as I entered Beregost I passed a day-glo cow.  After flashing for a moment it settled into the normal color pattern.  I did notice that I was arriving at night and the cow was on the edge of visible space, but, my characters being uninterested in psychedelic bovines, marched on into the town to seek a different shade of fame.
Maybe they should have stayed to investigate these strange goings-on.  Oh, well!  If it happens again, I'll have them report any details.

A Google search for the file names brought me to Leomar's post about the "BGI Missing Files" folder. I found it and downloaded them into "Override." Dang! I should have known that you guys would already have encountered and cleared up a simple problem like this; I have used this forum often enough to clear up other problems.
Well, I'm off to try the BWP Installer again.
