sometimes it's easier to ask, and while I had already searched and found winrar, I didn't find an answer to my second question. not to mention that I didn't get winrar because I got the impression from the site that it wasn't free, or that using it was on a free "trial period" offer, neither of which I am interested, but apparently you can use it for free and that's something else I wouldn't have learned because I didn't spend a lot of time reading the winrar site.First thing I am not trying to be rude.
I have used computers for a long time, including the net.
When I run into something I have never heard of I use my fave search engine. Just like when I come across a new word
I use a word processor with a thesaurus.
