(I made a new thread for this, but wanted to post here as well since people actually follow this topic and will likely never see mine. That and I really want to start a new playthrough. )
I recently prepped a new BG1EE install, default recommended mods, and got a couple errors...
BG1UB download points to a location that no longer exists on the git. I downloaded the latest archive from the Releases section as opposed to the now-deleted release directory of the master branch, and selected it for BWS to install, though the file size did not match what was expected.
Also, aTweaks and Rogue Rebalancing were expecting older versions. I allowed them to be patched all the same by the fixpack.
Should I be concerned about any of these errors? The patching worries me most, though Mod.ini points specifically to atweaks-v453 (though BWS patching says it was expecting v452) and to rr-v492 (expecting v491). I'm hoping the patching mechanism has some kind of line recognition so even if lines were added prior to the intended line, the correct string still gets patched.
What should I do? Force installation of the old versions, or go with the new and trust them to be patched correctly by the fixpack?
Edit: Couldn't fight the urge... I restored a backup and had BWS download and extract everything, and before beginning the actual installation process, I replaced the extracted v453 and v492 data with v452 and v491 data. Everything was installed and patched perfectly thereafter.
