I've encountered a bug with protection from petrification which is not working in multiplayer. Here is the thing.
- When server and client are in the same location let's say AR8107(BG1 house with a basilisk) ALL protections from petrification fail. Be it spell/Sukien ring/potion it doesn't matter.
- If server(Player1) walks in to the location alone and client(Player2) is outside, protection from petrification works all right.
- If I taker control over the clients char(he is connected to server, just not in control) and fight with Basilisk using Player2, each Basilisks successful attempt to petrify brings a message: "Hold: Server is taking conrol over this char"(it's not an accurate phrase, cause I'm not playing english version.) This phrase pops up despite the fact I'm already in control of everyone.
So if I play alone using multiplayer save or Player2 is in a different location, everything is fine. Otherwise I have no means to protect myself from basilisks gaze, which is very sad I must say.
My guess is that petrification somehow is trying to switch control from client to server when there is a successful hit with TB#PETRI.SPL. But it fails and for some reason petrifies everyone regadles of their protection status.
My WeiDU log you can see in this post, the only difference is that I use Russian installation(but just in case I also attached Russian)

Good day!
I was playing multiplayer game and came across very annoying thing. My friend connected to my server is suffering from attack disruption after being hit. His char simply stops attacking after succefful enemy hit. Clicking to attack monster also does nothing, he needs to move a step in any direction only than clickin on an enemy takes effect.(Attacking using Quick slot+click also helps)
It makes game for this char very difficult because you need to monitor every damage you've taken. Then you need to click on the ground and than on an enemy until you are hit again and ... so on.
I wonder if there is any mod which can cause this?
Also we are not very far in the game. Just went south after visiting Friendly arms inn, so there couldn't be a lot of scripts on our chars.

[SOLVED] Thief ability bug

Hello everyone!
I've got a question about bug that I've encountered.
When I'm trying to use Set Trap ability with any thief created or Imoen. It changes to polimorph self ability. It's a very nasty bug because I can't set trap with it :\

EDIT: I looked into the set trap ability in NI and one of Set Trap ability's effect says:
I wonder what is the right effect for set trap.
EDIT2: Well I deleted this effect, everything seems normal it's just a redundant string in a spell due to some mod I believe.
You need to modify SPCL412.SPL and SPCL414.SPL files these are SetSnare and SetAlchemical trap skills.

Restarting BWP installation

Good time of the day!
A year passed and I decided to give another run for BG however I encountered a small setback. I was installing BWP and when it came to IA animations it says:
Your ANSI code page is set to a value of 1251. Changing it to 1252 (Latin)
for mod animation compatibility. You must reboot to continue the installation. Reboot now? [Y]es [N]o
Last year when I was installing/reinstalling BWP I didn't come across this thing. Well I rebooted my PC but now I don't know how can I restart BWP installation from the point I stopped at. Even more I don't know if it is possible(regretably I forgot a lot of stuff from last year)
Can someone tell me if anything could be done, or should I just restart BWP from scratch?

I'm really interested in this item but I can't understand how does it work. I can't put it in the quick slot, because it says that "item has no usable ability". I looked through its scripts and then at B!STONE item in NI. I can't quite figure out how it should work. It's a misc type so I can't use, it's just an orange stone which I bought at Ribald's...
Also I'm at the 3d chapter so I satisfy some script conditions. Could anyone explain me how does it suppose to work. Thanks in advance.
