In Topic: How do I make a MOD?

I'm currently (and slowly) working on a female paladin NPC who will be a romance option for characters of either gender. Almost two mods for the price of one, as I plan to make the romance tracks different for males and females. :)

I'd say the absolute first thing you'd want to do is plot out in your mind exactly what you would want to do with your own mod. Would it be a quest-related mod? A new NPC? A revamp of a battle or two you'd like to be more challenging? Then go dive into the tutorials forum over at FWP and read to your heart's content. That and the general editing questions forum have been excellent for answering the questions I come up with as I work on my own little mod. :)

Bless you, Wes.  Autoupdate is working like a charm with 137 and 98SE.  Thanks a ton! :)

Yeah, manually updating does seem to work (at the least, it stalled on DBG this time instead of the hell trials) but yeah, it's a little tedious.  Worth it, though, to get the mods in. :)

Ah well, off to do some updating. :)

As a side note, the funky thing is that running Setup-KelseyTOB the first time DOES appear to have automatically updated Setup-Kelsey (version 1.5 for SOA), but nothing else.  Weird.

Okay, manually updating the WeiDU version on everything allows me to install just fine, so it's definitely just the autoupdate causing the stalling.

I just don't see any place for a PC to TRY to redeem Valen (and certainly never succeed). She's an option for EVIL PARTIES. Why on earth would an evil PC want to 'redeem' Valen? Why would a good party have her in the first place? Don't see any reason to worry about that particular scenario. Then again, that's just my two cents.
