Hej Guys,
adjusting my character's abilities right now and wonder if INT, WIS and CHA have any other effects than the ones described e.g. here.
The Baldur's Gate ingame descriptions of these stats seem to hint that they have even more effects, similar to the ones of PS:T. I'm talking about more dialogue options and more ways to complete a quest just by talking. So guys, do these stats have just the effects described in the link or do they give me a more thorough gaming experience when increasing?

Baldur's Gate: TotSC - Any "Must Have"-Mods?
09 May 2010 - 08:36 AM
Hey guys,
After I played through Planescape: Torment the other day, I want to start with the Baldur's Gate series now. I have already installed Baldur's Gate and the Add-On Tales of the Sword Coast + the 1.1.4315 Patch.
My question now is: Am I ready to go or should I install some Fixpacks, Tweaks, Patches, blahblahblah before I'll start the adventure?
It was so easy with PS:T and it's Qwinn Mods + the widescreen + the UI Mod. That was that with this game, but is there a similar procedure with Baldur's Gate? I heard about the Trilogy Mod but am not entirely sure if it's worth it.. remember that I want to play through the original game without any Expansions, but with a better/enhanced original experience.
Thanks in Advance ;-)

Planescape: Torment: Best Party, storywise?

Hey guys,
it's my first post in the shsforums and I must say that it already made a pretty neat first impression. It just looks so... clean and well organized.
I'm playing the first time through Planescape: Torment and thus have one little question that Google couldn't answer. Of course, I have the three big Qwinn Mods installed and one part of the Tweak Pack was "Save Nordom!". My question now is what would generally be the best party when I'm putting my focus on a great story experience and not on an easy game?
As far as I can tell the obvious choices of who to reject should be Ignus, Fall-from-Grace, Nordom or Vhailor, so I am able to pick only two of them. Then, I remembered the Save Nordom!-Mod and read again what it was about and how it works and frankly... didn't really get it. It can't be that, with this Mod, I'm now able to have 7 Party members and have both Nordom and Vhailor in it, only rejecting Ignus or Fall-from-Grace? If it really is like that, should my choice of who to let go be aimed on Ignus (which I guess because apart from what I have already learned in conversations with him he didn't really have any personality like Annah, Dak'kon and the unforgettable Morte) or Fall-from-Grace? And well, if it can't be achieved to have 7 party members (which I assume) my choice would be even harder. Furthermore, I'm just in the Clerk's Ward now and the last thing I did was getting Fall-from-Grace into my party, so you know, spoilerwise, of what not to say ;-). Hope my question is clear and you'll be able to help me.
