The install.bat only installs those Pre-buff components in a Tactics or above install not on a recommended one.

Well I guess then a recommended install where I add some more components in the process ends up being a tactical install then? Because that is what I did, and I definitely have buffed mages after selecting recommended install initially.

And if you wish to alter the content of the casted prebuff, you take the Install.bat and open it with Notepad, go to this line:

%IFNTES%scsII%S%scsII%L%0%SK% 6152 6162 6170 6180 6190 6200 --logapp | %M%
%IFNTGS%scsII%S%scsII%L%3%SK% 6152 6162 6170 6180 6190 6200 --logapp | %M%
%IFNTHS%scsII%S%scsII%L%1%SK% 6152 6162 6170 6180 6190 6200 --logapp | %M%

%IFTES%scsII%S%scsII%L%0%SK% 6151 6161 6171 6181 6191 6201 --logapp | %M%
%IFTGS%scsII%S%scsII%L%3%SK% 6151 6161 6171 6181 6191 6201 --logapp | %M%
%IFTHS%scsII%S%scsII%L%1%SK% 6151 6161 6171 6181 6191 6201 --logapp | %M%

And change the lines according to this:

Install Component [Smarter Mages]?
Not together with the SpellPack's Shroud of Flame component and the Charm Plants, Guardian
Mantle, Persistence component
6150 1] Mages cast some short-duration spells instantly at start of combat, to simulate prebattle casting
6151 2] Mages only cast short-duration spells instantly at start of combat if they are created in sight of the PC
6152 3] Mages never cast short-duration spells instantly at start of combat
[3]
Install Component [Smarter Priests]?
6160 1] Priests cast some short-duration spells instantly at start of combat, to simulate prebattle casting
6161 2] Priests only cast short-duration spells instantly at start of combat if they are created in sight of the PC
6162 3] Priests never cast short-duration spells instantly at start of combat

And when you are don, save... and then just run the .bat...

I would very much like to do this, but also very much have no idea how the install.bat works. So what do you mean by 'change accordingly'?
I assume the 6151 6161 etc are the options I can select. But what are IFTES, IFTGS, IFTHS?
And the 0 3 and 1 in the 6th column?

Or in other words, what lines exactly do I need to put into my install.bat to get rid of orc mages protected by what feels like more spells than Elminster can memorize?

Thanks for all the help

In Topic: Da Kit Lists

So awhile ago I installed BWP7 and it seems to be working fine. Then I found to my dismay that I am actually missing out on all those extra kits (espec. the TDD ones) because the standard install does not put them in.
How would I go about getting the TDD kits into my game now that all the mods are already installed? Just run the TDD setup again? But won't that break my BWP? Any other way?
What I found in the search on this forum seems to invole editing the install bat file and running the whole installation again, is that the only way or am I missing something? (Fairly likely...)
