In Topic: [Solved] Moving an BWP Installation

Ahh thanks, That did help.

I did need to do two things.

I added a new Wine Drive with the same letter that is registered in the ini. (in my case F) with the BGII installation directory as its mount point.

and secondly, the wine command is a bit funny if you dont terminal to the directory manually.
in my case it is:-

wine start /Unix "/home/paul/.wine/dosdevices/f:/Games/BGII - SoA/BGMain.exe"

Well, yeah. The Smoothpack just removes some lines with pauses and readmes from batch-files or tp2-files.
Not that big deal.

Ahh I see. I never got a chance to do this anyway. It finished by the time i read here again :)

another issue though,
getRaceText(): RACETEXT.2DA not found.

Anyone know how i could remedy this? i cant even find that file in my vanilla install.
  [solved]:-

The file is in the Tobexhacks zip, and you can place it in the BGII override dir to repair the race texts

You can try to run it manually by calling another cmd-session, the cd /D to your BG2-folder.
Then execute CALL ".\BiG World Installpack\BiG World Smoothpack.bat"

and i can do this whilst the BiG World Install.bat is running? (its currently about half way through atm)

does anyone know what would cause the readme's for each mod to keep popping up and interrupting during the installation? (i have to close notepad for each one for it to continue. sometimes it will state "Press any key to continue" after which the readme will pop up)

Here is Solestia - since the developer and TeamBG appear to be down permanently, I suggest it might be hosted under the Miscellaneous umbrella.

The setup file isn't included in the package.

Damn. Thats one im having trouble finding too.
